- Due to their hardness and flexibility, felt points are used when the exact form of geometric shapes has to be maintained.
- Mounted felt flap wheels are used for pre-polishing and high-gloss polishing on small to medium-sized components.

- Recommendations for use: For the best results, use at a recommended cutting speed of 5-10 m/s. When applying a different polishing paste, use a new unused polishing tool. Use the hard version for pre-polishing of even surfaces. If very fine finishes need to be achieved, the soft and hard versions can be used successively.
